On this tour we can experience various activities such as ecotourism, adventure and culture that are combined in order to give us a great day. As it is customary on our Tours, one of our guides will pick you up early in in the morning at about 7 AM to go in our transportation toward the imposing volcano Irazu. At the volcano we will give you a tour around the main craters and you will learn about the history of this colossus. (Walking Time 1 hour). After our hike another guide will be waiting with the team and equipment to begin our descent on mountain bikes of the Irazu to the skirts of the Turrialba volcano through different trails surrounded by flora and fauna typical to the area where we can see the different crops in the region: Potato, sugar cane, cabbage, coffee as well as cattle and the small towns of the area. Throughout the journey we will be accompanied by our experienced bilingual guides as well as a car escort . Continuing our journey we will arrive at the outskirts of the Turrialba volcano where you can take some pictures of this awsome colossus and stop for lunch at the restaurant torre alba where we will enjoy a typical meal of our region. After lunch we will visit a coffee plantation and processing plant in aquiares . In the village we will visit a small beautiful church. After a ride through the rain forest you can take some pictures and smim in the pool underneath a breathtaking 50 ft. thundering waterfall. We continue our ride to turrialba where our adventure ends. This mountain bike ride is for the experienced as well as the beginner since it is downhill only. This trip includes transportation, breakfast (if it is San Jose) lunch, hydration, entrances to national parks, equipment and the Tour in general. You need t-shirt, jacket, tennisshoes, shorts, and dry clothes for the end of the tour.
